    Hi, I'm looking for some info on a crossly dryer #CDG22B6V... has been making a nasty high piched squeal for some time now... let me mention that I am a lady who thinks I can fix anything with duct tape an wd40/pb blaster lol... im finding out that this solution is only masking the prob an the sound only gets louder an louder when the 'help' effect wears off... any help would be greatly appreciated :)... thanks missi

    If it Isn't the idler pulley, (which runs with the drum belt), It could be the rear drum bearing. This is located behind the drum. It requires pulling the drum forward to take a look, if not taking the drum out of the cabinet altogether. Walk through instructions (Suggestions) ARE available on Google!
