    Kenmore elite calypso error messages
I had error message CE today then later the LD... I found it meant it long drain. I unpluged the washer before understanding the message so now it won't drain. How do I reset the brain so that it can drain and work. Every time I go to do any wash cycle it starts and instantly shuts off the water from filling up. I assume because it is full.

Any ideas on what to do?

Error messages I received today were LD, 5r, CE. All I did was try to presoak sheets overnight... didn't work.. and know it doesn't work at all... help me please..

If there is any breakdown in communication between the machine controller and the motor controller, "CE" flashes and the unit beeps once.
Some common causes of "CE" errors include:
·Conformal coating on serial communications pins between the machine controller and motor controller. After disconnecting power to the unit, try scraping this coating off the pins.
    · Check the resistance values between the serial communications pins with the connectors in place. Make sure the harness does not have a bad connection.
    · Check the quick disconnect at the motor terminal. The drive motor must be hooked up properly or a "CE" error will occur.
    · Drive motor thermal protector has opened.
·Motor controller is not powered or fuse has opened. Replace motor controller.

Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.

Now the CE is gone and I keep getting LD... I researched it and it means long drain.. so how long is long because I don't hear it draining at all. I tried to rinse and spin to drain.. but water is not just sitting in the bottom.. any further suggestions?
