What's wrong with it? What type (nano, classic, touch, etc) and generation is your iPod?

It may be possible to fix it without sending it in for repairs, if it's not a structural issue.

There are no apple authorized service providers listed in India, at all. There's a complete list here, in case I overlooked it or got the country wrong. If you need to, you could probably mail it somewhere to get fixed.
