How about an update? I was hoping by the end of this thread I might have been that much wiser about my own predicament. ;)

I had a rather feverish intense short lived fling with an older woman of 2 years, until suddenly all her idiosyncrasies got to me at once. Infatuation was gone almost overnight. My ex and I rekindled our friendship and now we hang out sometimes.
