I had the same problem on my 95lx ... It was the electrical portion of the ignition switch. Took me about 1 1/2 hours to swap out and the part ws $44 at the dealer. Hell of a cheap fix for such an enormous problem. Thanks for the post on this, guys, it really helped me narrow down my problem!
