What is this?
I wonder whether it's faeces or eggs. And what kind of animal produce this thing? Please advice.

That looks like poop... Could be deer, elk or even black bears. But its definitely poop!

Are you sure that was produced by an animal of some kind?
If it were indeed feces, I would think that the edges of the matter wouldn't be all that regular, (rounded and oval), like they are in the images.

These are feces. Most likely the animal has been eating berries of some kind. Fox and coyote feces look like this when they have been gorging on manzanita berries. But what fruit and what animal really depends on where you live.
