    Cat birth complications
My cat seems to be in labor. She has been in labor since 11:00pm last night and her eyes are glazed over and only the whites of her eyes are showing. When she goes into a sleep it is nearly impossible to alert her. All the advice from the web says not to bother her too much but it seems at times like she is not breathing and acts like she is almost dead. I'm not sure if all this is normal she hasn't eaten or drank anything since yesterday, and I have considered taking here to the emergency vet. They said it would be around $2000.00 if they have to force her into labour and I don't want to shell out that kind of money if these type of symptoms are normal for a cat in labor. If anyone has any advice that would be great. Thanks!

Sorry but it sounds like your going to have to take her to the vet and shell out the cash, some vets are pretty good about giving you repayment options over time. This doesn't sound normal at all and the cat could be dying. Expenses like this are all part of having a pet.
