    When I close my eyes.
    I see things.

I see things I've never seen.

    I see and understand.

I see galaxies, stars, planets, continents, mountians, cities, towns, streets, buildings, sidewalks, people, blood and bullets.

    I see death.

I see galaxies, stars, planets, continents, mountians, cities, towns, streets, buildings,
    Windows, people, blood and new-borns.

    I see life.

I've been to places I've never been.

    Yet it's still here.

That nagging thought, that horrible, terrible switch,
That when moved up, all is lost.

I'm back, with my eye's wide open, and I don't care about people, because I've seen them.

    And they're all the same.

So I walk, I walk along roads, over cars, through buildings, past the dying and living,
Through forests, past oceans, all beneath your eyes.

I've never walked with someone, I've ran, but never walked.

And I'm glad so, because I know when people lie, usually not directly, but they still lie.

Because I know and understand truth,

I know and understand, it takes great vigilance not too loose that.

You step outside and everything you've ever known is not what it is,
    The very names are fictitious,
And their meanings pathetic on the real scale.

That's why I walk with my eyes closed, my ears blocked, my mouth and nose plugged and skin covered,

Until of course, I find my chair,

    My chair,

At the center of the universe.

    Right next to you.

    Back in time.

    Forward in time.

    And never seen.

Because I know and understand the truth,
And it's something so many things have never known and understood.

Because it's impossible for us too tell.

Understanding is something the human race doesn't pride itself on.

    So we sit and watch.
    And know.
    And understand.

    And never change.

I didn't remember God being so depressed last time I read His diary. I would recommend a more comfortable chair; change your whole outlook on things. (and less drugs) :)

You subscribe to a deterministic view of events. Because we're all puppets, your just a puppet who can see the strings. Right?

    We do not "subscribe".

I built my understandings by myself, I merely connected.
Because when I searched I didn't find a group that had already built a set of standards.
    Only others.

And in any case, the idea of the human race being puppets,
Now, who's the one tugging the strings?
And don't say it's the government, religious cults or any of that sort.

No "elite" nor "authorative" groups control everyone completely.

If you look at yourself in the logical perspective,

    it's your own hand.

    And it was simply trained,
    Like an experiment.

And that picture is a horrible representation of the "puppet that sees the strings",
    Waaay too much "perfection" symbolism.

I would go into more detail about the concept of the hand being trained and such,
But most take the personal perspective and get overly (emotionally) judgmental.

I understand your way of writing, coogiez. You like to express yourself and you simply write, not according to any rules of prose or poetry. That's okay. That's part of what this topic area is for. What you write can be very deep an hard to understand. Often takes a second or even third reading to understand from where you are coming in what you have written.

You write with the experience of someone who has been around for decades and has been through a lot in their life. Others who respond might not respond in kind or appreciate or understand what you write, because they haven't been around all that long...

Yes, life is about choices, as you've already pointed out in not so much the same words as I have used.

I would have to agree that it has been something of an experiment because of the schooling that people have had concerning that which might be right from wrong and the way that people should be based upon preconceived notions and concepts by those who might be the "trainers".

In short though, if there is anymore disparaging words by anyone or arguing on this thread or others in the Writing topic area, then I will have to exercise what I can do concerning the moderation of them.

This isn't the Philosophy topic area!

If I have written isn't quite in concert with what you have written, please let me know so that we can discuss it!

    Thanks!
