Do you think I have a strong case in wrongful termination.
I was let go on my job about a week ago for frauding my time sheet my manager said.

This is the case: please read very interesting.

On February 22, 2010 I was hired at?? As an Assistant Manager/Leasing Consultant. My manager's name was ----- ---. On my first day of hire ----- had assigned me my weekly schedule which was from 8:30am - 5:30pm M-F Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm and on Sunday's 1:00pm – 4:00pm.

In the initial discussion I told Ms ---- that I was not able to work Sundays due to church services. Ms ---- said to me “I really need you here on Sundays because she has the weekends off. She asked me what hours I could possibly work on Sundays and I told her I could work from 1:00pm to 4:00pm with no problem. Ms --- instructed me to place on my time sheet 12:00pm-4:00pm in order to make up my 40 hours that I needed. As a new employee I followed what was instructed to me. I did question Ms the extra hour and Ms ----- verbally told me that I would be making it up within the work week which would balance everything out. After that being said; I questioned no more.
I then did my duties as instructed by Ms. -----to put on our flyers the hours for Sunday from 1:00-4:00pm. Ms. ----- took the responsibility in setting up voicemail stating hours on Sunday are from 1:00-4:00pm as well as stated on the front door of ------------

On Jan 10, 2011 at approximately 12:00 noon I was called into Ms. office where Ms ? Told me that there was a discrepancy with my Sunday scheduling and that I would be terminated due to fraudulent action on my time sheet. Ms ---- stated that my time was originally from 12:00pm – 4:00pm and that I was in a way stealing from the company. I said to Ms. ----“that you had instructed me on my original hired date that it would be just fine for me to work from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and that Ms-----would make the schedule in a way where it will be made up. I then asked Ms. ---- to please call HR department while I was sitting in the office to question Ms ------ decision of my termination, because I felt that it was un-heard of and unjust, when I was only doing what I had been instructed to do for the past 11 months of my employment at --------
HR got on the phone and I said to Ms. -----“why did you have me work from 1-4 on Sundays for 11 months and never once questioned the discrepancy of the time sheet. Ms -- gave no response and continued on the basis that HR said it was a fraudulent act on my part, and that I was being terminated.

Your Honor, as head of household, mortgage holder, with other multiple responsibilities, and duties as the sole provider for my family. I feel that I have been misguided and I am being looked at as un-trustworthy. I feel deformation of character has been wrongfully placed upon me.

Your Honor again, I would like to emphasis that I was instructed by my manager Ms --- to place 12:00pm – 4:00pm on my Sunday time sheets. I feel that I was wrongfully terminated due to Ms --- covering up, misleading and failing to communicate any time discrepancies for the 11 months that I was employed there. I believe that Ms ---'s actions were to save Ms ---s own job at my expense.

Your Honor, the purpose of this petition #1 is to see that justice prevails in this matter and as well to seek compensation for being wrongfully terminated and for the time loss of wages until I find a new job...
Also may I add I have a time sheet from my boss that she even signed from 12-1pm.. what about that.. I have all my docks in a row and I have a photo of the front door stating the time on sundays 1-4 flyers and so forth.. what do you think? Please let me know if you think I have a good chance of winning this.. thanks all ahead of time for your responses..

Where was this... what country? What State? If its in the USA was you an AT-WILL employee? If you was AT-WILL, they really don't need a good reason.

    We need more information.

Was that extra hour (to cover 12:00-1:00 on Sundays) scheduled into your work week to make a total of 40 hours?

    1. what time during the week, did you "make up" this hour, what day did you work a hour extra that you were not turning in ?

    2. It sounds like the other person told you to do something that was against company policy and that is no correct to do.

If you are trying to get unemployment, you most likely will win, If you are trying to do something else, it would be iffy as to the case
