MS Word form freezes
I have designed a rudimentary (but big) form for Word 2000 with many (280) check boxes, 50 free text boxes and a few drop-down menu choices. My computer is on a highly protected (healthcare organization) network and the form will be used by 4-6 people as a template for patient progress notes. My problem is that the document freezes and refreshes on the screen over and over again making entering data very cumbersome. I don't have any macros written for it (IT security won't let me use). What can I do to improve speed?
