I have been on birth control for 4 years now and have a regular period. But yesturday I started and continuing on today and it is in the middle of my pack where I shouldn't have it. I haven't had sex in a little over 2 months (and I always use protection) I've had 2 periods since then like normal. This is really random so I was wondering what's going on? Should I be worried? I don't want to go to the doctors if I don't have too, I'm tight on money. What do you think it could be?

In the past when I was on the pill, I would get a light normal period, and then 2 weeks later have another 2 or 3 days of blood/brown aftermath. I talked to my doctor about it and she said it was normal. The reason I would get my period during the time I wasn't supposed to was because my body wasn't reacting to that particular brand of birth control. I switched to a different brand after that and it worked for a few months and then the same thing happened again. Now I am on no pill and my period naturally went regular.
