Me and my fiancŽ have been trying to conceive our first child for the past 2 months.. I keep track of my period on a calendar and my cycle comes every 23rd day and lasts 7 days.. It's pretty regular.. In October my period lasted 5 days when it usually lasts 7... It was also very light and not the normal color.. It was like a light pink watery color.. About 2 weeks after my period I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative.. I missed my period in November completely.. My next period should come on the 8th this month.. But for the past few days my breasts have been sore on the sides.. and also I have been feeling nauseous for about a week.. And cramps every once in a while.. If I'm not pregnant can someone please tell me what's going on with me?

If you haven't tested since missing the November period, I'd try another test... making sure to follow the directions carefully. Or you could wait and see what happens when you expect your December period. Obviously if it doesn't show, try another test at that time or see your doctor for a test there.

When you tested before, it may have been too early. Tests are most accurate when you have already missed a period. It could be that you have just had a couple of off cycles... or you may indeed be pregnant and will get the positive when you test again.
