    Wanting to have a baby
My husband and I are wanting to have a kid but I don't get my period like I should it just pops up whenever. I was told it's best to try after I have my period. But also told to wait a week to 2 weeks after having my period witch we do but nothing seems to work why can't I get pregnant could there be something wrong with me or could there be something a wrong with his sperm... I guess what I'm trying to ask is can I get pregnant even if I don't regulate like I should please help!

It would take a book to write about ways to try to get pregnant. And then it would take a lot of money for tests of both you and your husband.
I would first look at your irregular periods. If you can afford one consultation with a fertility clinic, do so.
Meanwhile, look for chat rooms online for 'trying to conceive,' abbreviated often to Trying to conceive. You will find other women who have been through many of the techniques and tests.

Even a healthy couple with no issues can take a year or more for pregnancy, so not sure how long you have tried.

But you need to see reasons for not having periods, and consider various treatments, There is no way to time sex for ovulation without trying to track it

You told you about trying after your period? Generally ovulation may occur a week or more after your period.

You should be discussing this with your OB/Gyn. He can instruct you how to judge when you ovulate. He can also check for any fertility issues. If you have been trying for more than 6 months. You both need to go through a full battery of fertility testing.
