    Tilted cervix
Has anyone heard of a dr trying to pull on a tilted cervix to straighten it out. I have a friend who is pregnant and is due November 11 she is 3cm dialated but the dr is waiting because her cervix is tilted. She said he tried to straighten it out by pulling on it. I have never heard of that, and I also have a tilted cervix and just had my son last October 2005, and am pregnant with my second child.. Just wondering if I should ask my dr at my next appointment?

If I were you I would ask. I personally have never heard of this, but it may have something to do with the level of tilt that she has. Perhaps he was trying to straighten it to help decrease the possibility of C-Section.

Just ask your doc to be sure.
