I think my breasts are abnormal or undeveloped and I'm 17
I am 17 and my breasts are not normal, the nipples still stick but sometimes they come out. They just don't seem to be developed and keep changing, I don't know what to do as I am really embaressed by this... it doesn't exactly improve my confidence as I have a serious boyfriend and I am having trouble letting him near me intimatly. Anyone had this problem or know what to do?? Thank you x

This is all perfectly normal hun. When your nipples "come out" is it when you are cold?
Breasts continue to develop and change until lactation (milk after having a baby)
I don't understand what you mean by "they just don't seem to be developed" Are you small breasted? Some women are.

Sweetie that is "regular" for your nipples to do that. Your nipples will do that when you are cold or when you are aroused, or whenever they darn well feel like it, LOL.
This is perfectly normal and I bet if you would ask your friends they would tell you it happens to them too. Nipples have tons and tons of nerve endings in them, they are very sensitive, so if your nipples brush up against a soft shirt (if you're braless) they will become erect.
Not to worry, hun, you are normal.

I heard in some magazine about women's health, that breasts finish developing at or after age 18, but some women could develop later than 20.
You're normal.

Even though the fact that they change is normal I'm still really conscious about the fact that they are usually retracted and don't know what to do to get them to be like normal breasts and not have nipples that stick in??
