    PCOS and Hair
I am 24 yrs old and was diagnosed with PCOS about 5 years ago. I have noticed that my hair is thinning and I have more facial hair. I was always a hairy kid, I thought it was genetics since I have Eastern European ancestery, however, I noticed that as I got older, things got worse. I am overweight, although I am on the path to losing weight, and I am on the Pill to regulate me. The thinning hair and the facial hair is driving me nuts!! I notice that I am plucking chin hair more often now, which is horrible!! I was wondering if I tried Gluchaphage [sic] but it didn't agree with me. I guess what I am asking, and I can't seem to find a knowledgeable doctor, should I inquire about getting a hormone pill to increase estrogen? What should I do? I don't want to lose anymore hair, at least not on my head. I used to have normal hair, now I am self conscious about parting my hair. PLEASE HELP!!
