Possibility of pregnancy after depo and 2 months of nuvaring?
Hello all. I just have a few questions and really want to know if anyone has had any of the experiences that I am currently having. I got married September 2010. Exactly one month before our actual wedding date, my husband and I found out we were expecting. I was terribly sick and began having complications not long after our wedding. I had3 different sonograms. The first one was to establish about how far along I was. It was reported at the time that I was about 6 1/2 weeks. Also was told that the heart rate was a little lower than what is considered normal but nothing to worry about at that point. Then almost 2 months later I went to ER because I was having cramping and bleeding. The 2nd sonogram reported that the baby was only measuring at about 9 1/2 weeks. The heart rate was still lower than usual but still they said it was OK. Then I went a week later to my first actual OB appt and upon the 3rd sonogram the discovered the baby had passed. They also discovered that according to my hormones and blood work that I was in fact rounding the corner of 21 weeks pregnant but still at the last sono, the baby still only measured at 9 1/2 weeks. So, had surgery and had a D&C. Found out a few weeks later that I had a partial molar pregnancy and that was why the baby wasn't growing and eventually passed. So sorry about the overload of details, I just want to give the complete picture. So, because of the molar pregnancy, I couldn't get pregnant until my hormone levels went all the way down and stayed down. I went through about 4 months of bloodwork every week. Now, during that time, the doctor stressed to me how vital it was that I didn't get pregnant during this time. She talked me into the DEPO. I didn't realize how it messes up your system but the entire 12 weeks, I had no period. After the 12 weeks of "active" protection, I decided I didn't want to do that again and went on the NuvaRing. After the first round of the nuvaring, when I took it out, it was out for 3 days and I began to have all the signs of a period EXCEPT the actual shedding of the lining. I did have a couple of days of VERY slight spotting but nothing to write home about. So, put in the 2nd nuvaring and took it out when It was time and again, I suffer from PMDD and it was bad! I was such a *****. Had a little bit more of a period but still not what I would call normal. The doctor decided that I shouldn't put another nuvaring in and should just try to allow my body and hormones to try to adjust and get back to their normal thing... whatever that is... but 1 week after the2nd nuvaring removal/slight period, I began to have cramps and have a little bit of blood for about 4-5 days. Now, that has stopped but my boobs hurt, I have been moping around, sad and then 2seconds later I am laughing, crying or maybe both. To say I have been having SEVERE mood swings is an understatement. My poor, poor, poor husband. He has just been walking on eggshells around me and he can't win for losing! I have a had a constant headache that I can't rid myself of and to top it all off I am almost certain I am starting to get a yeast infection... THANK YOU JESUS!! I know this all may be too much info but I need to know, is it the hormones from the BC am I knocked up again... what gives. I would love to be somewhat normal and I would REALLY like for husband to not divorce me... HELP!!
