    Positive Hpt but with a faint line
    I took a HPT test this evening and saw two lines. Even though the one line was lighter than the other does this still count as a positive result? I am new to seeing a potive result so I just wanted to make sure that I am correct on this since I never saw a positive result with my last pregnancy..

    If one line is lighter than the other it is very possible that it is a positive result. Did it show up like that right away, like within five minutes? Just asking because keep in mind that if you take a test and look at it later like the next day or hours later it can look like a positive result. If I were you I would take another one and or go to the doctor to be sure. The instructions on the package should give you detail about the results.

    If your unsure. Why not take one more test, but make sure you do the test in the morning with your first urine.

    I would say, your pregnant... I had the same happen to me with my first pregnancy, and I called the hotline on the side of the hpt box.. lol... they told me a line is a line is a line...
