    Obgyn question
So my husband and I had intercourse Tuesday night about 11 pm afterwards went to the bathroom discovered I was bleeding didn't think much of it, but then it was still there the next day and then on Thursday we had sex again and the bleeding was worse. It is Friday morning and still bleeding not heavy but noticeable. I am concerned because today is Feb 27 and I had my period on feb 15-22, so I can't imagine it be a period. My mother had cervical cancer not sure if it's genetic so I am worried can't get an appt until March 9th. Please help!

March 9 is only 10 days away, not very far ahead. Keep that appointment. With that said, the bleeding could be caused by a number of things that aren't cancer related. If the sex was rough, for instance, that could be the cause.

Is is the bleeding bright read period-like blood or is it more brownish, like spotting?

I wouldn't worry unless the bleeding is bright red and period-like. This could be just old blood left over from your period.

There are no doctors here. We can only guess based on education and/or experience. It would be in your best interests to contact your doctor who knows your medical history.
