Hi, I am suffering from heavy bleeding problem from last 1 month in staring 14 days continuously heavy bleeding took place afterward it has been stopped for a week again it has been started after a week with heavy bleeding then I visited to gyna then she gave me gnaset for 20 days twice a week within a day it has been stopped but as I missed the medicine to take for 2 days again with in a week heavy bleeding is started please sugest why it is happening again an again.

Hello pragati gupta,

There can be several reasons for heavy and/or continuous bleeding. Progesterone, which gynaset is, will sometimes be used to alter hormone levels to see if that takes care of the problem. There can also be polyps or endometriosis which can also cause the bleeding. If she hasn't already, she will likely do an exam, or a more thorough exam to see if anything can be found that may be the cause. There are procedures that can take care of the bleeding if medications don't work.

Certainly see your doctor again about the continued bleeding.
