My period was a little off due to a cyst; however once it ruptured, over the past few months it has gotten back on to a regular schedule of about every 33 to 34 days. This time on the 31st day of this month I started getting a brown discharge (which usually lets me know my period is about to start) except there was a little more than usual. In order to prepare for my period so that I wouldn't get caught bleeding on myself, I started wearing a tampon. Note: I was sick, like the flu almost, at the same time my period was starting. Well the second day there was barely any brown discharge on my tampon. The third day came and once as I was changing my tampon there was a spot of bright red blood about the size of the tip of my thumb and at that time I figured "here it comes". Well my period never came other than that small circle of blood! I've had two children (4 and 1) but I've never had implantation spotting before so I'm not sure if this is it. My breasts have been tingling a little but other than that I don't notice many changes. I'm small framed so I can still see my "pooch" from my other two children so even though I show early I can't tell if it's just my "pooch" or if I'm putting on some weight. It's been a week since my period was due. Do you think that my sickness caused my period to stop just as it was starting or could it be that I might be pregnant?:confused:
