Blood clots and heavy vaginal bleeding after sex
I just recently had rough sex with my boyfriend. During the intercourse, he kind of forced it in in a awkward position and ended up hurting me.. we stopped immediately. But I have noticed that I was bleeding... it was little at first but now going on 9 hours I have really heavy bleeding and really bad blood clots every time I go to the bathroom.. I was very dizzy and had fever. But after taking a nap I don't feel dizzy anymore but still bleeding. What should I do? Please help

GO TO A DOCTOR OR EMERGENCY ROOM!!

I am not a doctor, but I think that he tore your cervix, or (hopefully), your vaginal wall. Have you ever been diagnosed with any problem that involves endometrial lining buildup? It could be that was knocked loose. But bleeding like that out of the blue is cause for alarm... This isn't something to joke about kiddo... Vamoose!

I agree, you should see a doctor. When your body acts this way it is nothing to mess around with. See a doctor!

However, the man would have to have a switchblade taped to his penis to tear your vaginal wall. And as for tearing your cervix, he would have to have a penis equivalent to The Hulk. It is possible that you could have torn your outer genitals, but that would not cause you to clot.

Your best bet is to see a doctor. You can't be too careful.

You are right! My bad. I was just thinking about all the things that could bleed. But from first "hand" experience, bleeding from the cervix is possible with rough sex.

But I do not come here to argue about the brass tacks...

I consulted a sage far wiser than I in these matters, and she is very concerned about the fever. She thinks that whatever was done, might have sparked a pelvic inflammation/infection. And the dizziness is not a symptom to be taken lightly either. She suggests that you go to the emergency room and get it checked out pronto. Please do not take this lightly. Please go get medical help now!

You are right. Fever and dizziness are nothing to mess with. And pevlic inflammation sounds like a possibility.

Take BIGBOPPER's advice, see a doctor!

Well, if it isn't around the time of the month for your period to come, I think you should go to the hospital!! You could loose too much blood if it doesn't stop, and then you could fall asleep, and, well, maybe not wake up. BUT... if it is time for your period... and you have been having sex a lot lately without a condom... you could be having a spontaneous miscarriage. That would explain the blood clots. Heavy periods are quite often failed pregnancies... it isn't all that uncommon.

I am not a doctor, I am just a 36 year old woman who has had the same thing happen to me when I was in my early 20's, and when I went to the hospital the doctor told me this.

    Good luck!

You really shouldn't scare the crud out of someone by saying they might not wake up. If I was the OP I'd be really scared after reading that. :)

It could be this serious, but it also could not be. But this statement about miscarrying is true as well. If you have been regularly having sex, protected or not, there is a chance you could have fallen pregnant, and could be miscarrying. I wouldn't want to jump to this conclusion as of yet, since you didn't indicate whether you might be pregnant.

Bottom line, see a doctor. Clotting for no apparent reason is not good.

I would suggest getting a medical exam. It could be something more serious.
