I got the mirena in precisely 101 days ago. I haven't had a period, only spotting. I haven't had spotting in a couple weeks now, though.

I also have tender breast, sore nipples and an overall fullness of them. This alarms me since I have never, not with a single period/PMS had tender boobs. I noticed right away since it was such a new sensation, especially the nipples. I swear my areolas are bigger - but I won't say that for sure.

Another alarming symptom was the hunger pangs. Not just average ones; we're talking an acidic or sour feeling and just a hunger that can't be satiated. I will eat, then shortly later, I have the same feeling again. I could eat, and eat. It doesn't matter what I eat either. I tried some high fiber oatmeal and granola bars, and still, I feel hungry a little later.

Fatigue. I'm just really tired all day and want to call it a night by 8PM. This could also be that I live a very busy life, but it seems to be a big factor right now.

Gas for the past few days.

A thirst that cannot be quenched.

Headaches. Three days straight now, some mild, some worse. I had them about a week ago as well.

There was a few times that I found I was peeing more frequently, but again, I won't say that is a definite.

I've never felt this way before, so I took a test, and it came out negative. I truly don't believe it. Before you say it, yes I'm trying to make an appointment now. I am stationed overseas with my husband and it is a big fiasco getting a simple appointment. For now, I need this for peace of mind. Have any other woman got pregnant off the IUD, think you're pregnant, had my symptoms? I will say that I do personally know people who have, and with it in place where it should be. I know of another who took round about 10 at home tests that were negative before a positive blood test. Can you sense my apprehension? Any advice, stories or tips would help!
