    Always hungry
Hi, I’m a 24 years old and I’m not fat but I really don’t like to be hungry all the time.

So… usually in a normal day I weak up at 9.00 am and I have cereal with mil for breakfast, later about 11.30 am I get hungry again but I don’t eat anything until 13.00, that’s when I have lunch usually something like pasta with eggs or some kind of meat, some vegetable like tomato or lettuce with some onion or carrot, then for dessert I have some fruit.

The problem is that I finish my lunch at 2.00 pm and I’m already hungry about 2.30 or 3.00pm and I really don’t think that’s normal. Usually anyway I just drink some water until 5.00pm when I eat some toasts and milk, then again the same thing about an hour later I’m hungry again and have to wait until 21.00 when I have some salad with something.
So, I don’t know if it’s a health problem or a psychological problem. Any suggestion or comment will be great.

    Thank u all :)

Well, if you feel that you are too hungry, that would be a good thing to bring up when you have your next physical. Also talking to a nutritionist might help. Other than that, it seems to me that if you're a healthy weight, if you're hungry, then eat. Maybe you need to eat foods that are a little more filling. How are your portions? Do you think you need to eat larger portions? If you are physically active and exercise, you might need more calories too. Could be psychological, like you said. Like if you are really bored in the afternoon or something. I know sometime when I'm at work and things are slow, I will have the urge to snack! But I think you should see a doctor and go over your diet with him/her. Write down what you eat and when and take it with you when you go.

I would definitely bring this to a doctors attention. This could be a sign of several things. I have a hital hernia in my stomach lining. Should get surgery but don't have the funds I remember being hungry all the time. Well for people with hital hernias it is better to eat several small meals a day and it keeps my stomach acid down, could be a tape worm, could be the portion size as peggy said. I personaly eat often but I would look into it. See what a dr thinks about it.
