Wired & wireless at same time
My laptop is generally connected via a wireless connection. However for one program I use a wired connection.

Are there any pros or cons to leaving the wireless active while wired?

I would turn off if not using, I think sometimes computer gets confused.
Wired is Faster and more secure.
