I have a d link 615 router. I had it set up, and had no problems going online using my laptop. My son wants to access some apps (wifi) on his iPod. I can see the network name with a lock beside it. I typed the password that I used for the router but it won't work.

Try retyping it, paying close attention to the letters/numbers coming up. I found it hard using the keyboard on it to type my password had to try a few times. If that fails again, I know some of the dlink routers have safety settings against mobile devices, log into your router, there should be a setting you can enable/disable to allow/disallow mobiles.
