Is a hunter remote going to work on a hampton bay fan?
Installed hunter remote kit on hampton bay fan. Seemed to work, but fan started and stopped occasionally by itself. Moved dip switches on remote and receiver to rule out interference. Won't work at all now.

Called hunter tech support @ 1-888-830-1326 & learned that resetting dip switches takes effect AFTER power is cut off to receiver for a few minutes and then restored. Dip switches had to be reset because of interference causing fan to turn on and off by itself. Or so they said. It seems to be working right now.
