    GPS... Which Will It Be..?
The Task at hand is Replacing our GPS which grew legs.. We previously had a Garmin, the Garmin model we requested from the local Canadian Tire Store could only be ordered Online from their Website.. Price & Availability are upper most, they had 3 choses between Garmin / Magellan / TomTom.. The later I never heard of.. They did have a cheaper Garmin on the shelf, but offered a Magellan reg. price $189.00 on sale for $99.00.. Lifetime Updates available, it already had the U.S. & Purta Rico downloaded in the unit, just a matter of clicking the preference... Thoughts & Opinions appreciated.. Cheers. Thanks

I prefer the Garmin... Tom Tom has its followers... Magellan, not so much.

Lifetime maps is real nice to have in areas that have a lot of construction. The free traffic alerts... not so much. I usually find myself in jams right at the same time it tells me there is traffic ahead... Which usually provokes a "No Sh*t, Sherlock" out of me almost every time.

Yep , I Conquer especially when you can see right in front of you and it wants you to dig yourself deeper.. 10-4 We would have gone with a Garmin as 1st pick if it we're readily available off the shelf... In my quest looking for opinions , asked a Tech friend who had a Magellan for 9 yrs.. Whether it's True or False says the Garmin & Magellan may have the same Mother Board..?
