    Ad-hoc connection
    Hi,
I have a desktop and a laptop computer that I am trying to connect using an ad-hoc wireless connection. The desktop is running win xp sp 2 and has a usb wireless hub. The laptop is running win 98 (not SE) and has a linksys PC card. Everything works on both computers and they see each other in the config utilities of the two cards. However, neither one can ping the other. They don't see each other at all except in the card's config utilities.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
