Work offline message keeps appearing even when I have no explorer windows open
Since I installed ie7 I've been bothered with this problem.work offline message keeps appearing on my screen even when I haven't got the explorer opened.I don't know if this is just a bug with the ie7 or if its something more serious.I have even uninstalled internet explorer 7 and then re-installed it but the problem remains.the message just appears for no reason and then it repeats itself over and over until I deal with it.there can be 10 and over messages there and that's just in the space of maybe 5mins.none of my anti virus software has picked up anything so I'm guessing its something to do with the ie7.if anyone else has encountered this problem and sorted it please help as this is becoming a right pain in the .
    Thanks steff

Your problem is you have something attempting to connect to the internet. This could be a legitimate program trying to run an automatic software update, or as is more often the case, this could be a some spyware trying to run a pop-up or browser control script. Do you have spyware protection presently ?

I think there is a bit of a problem with IE7. I keep having problems with webpages loading. I actually know that everything else is running OK but IE7 tells me that I may be having connection issues.

I'm experience that problem this year.
I think you must install any anti-spyware. Scan your computer, delete them and restart. Then you won't see any damn "Work Offline" window. I've tried it and that successful. ;)
