    Just put the XP disc in and follow the upgrade instructions.

    No need to uninstall 98. Win XP Upgrade can do a FRESH install which will clean out 98.

    However, I have to ask if you ran the Upgrade Analyzer? A Win 98 machine may not have the horsepower to run XP. Even if it does, you might have to change some of your components.
