    W2K Setup fails due to hardware
    I have an AMD MicroStar Model 6340
    When I install W2K Pro after Frormat and clean Install
    I get the message at the point wgere it is installing keyboard etc
    Hardware Problem contact...
    When I tried in Safe Mode, it said it could not find initpki.dll
    Machine was running Windows ME half hour previously
    ? Could it be the Bios?. any sugestions

    What exactly is the error message?

    Inipki.dll is the cryptographic, encryption service. Its probably running during installation of various drivers and could not verify the signature of the driver. Bad install CD maybe.
