    Skype does NOT support a dial up connection.
    You need a minimum of 1 mbps (1 meg) broadband

    Hi,

    You have mentioned in the post that you are getting a message on the screen and it's not letting you use Skype on the computer.
    As Curlyben rightly said that if you have dial up connection you will not be able to use Skype on the computer because it will only work with broadband or DSL internet.

    Since you have mentioned dial up and broadband. I request you to please let me know which kind of internet connection you are using. So that we can help you further.
