    Error Message about dll files
I am using Windows XP and this error message came up as soon as I tried to log on.

The original 419 could not be located in the dynamic link library TER32.dll

If anyone knows what this means I would appreciate a response. Thanks

The TER32.DLL file is described as a "TE Edit" control from Sub Systems, Inc.

This DLL file would have been installed with some application you loaded into your system.

Assuming you can log in and access the system, you might take a look at applications you installed when the problem started. Re-installing, or removing, such applications may fix it. You may also try going back to a restore point before you had this trouble.

If for some reason you can't get past login to access the system, it's probably best to use the WinXP install CD to repair your Windows installation.
