    System Recovery and Applications Disks
    Hello,
I have Sony VAIO with the Me OS. It's about 5 years old.
I've restored with both System Recovery Disks.
The computer then asked for the Applications Recovery Disk.
I put it in the correct drive -- the computer refuses to read it.
    What next?
    Bill

Try placing the Applications Recovery Disc (the one that doesn't work) into another computer. Don't run it or anything just see if another computer is able to read the disc.

If you've got windows installed already, and it's asking for the disks to try to install other software, you could try the website of the company who made the computer. Sometimes they off the software for download, too.
