I tried uninstalling Linux to Install Windows XP. Well it didn't work very well. Somehow I got 2 partitions. C: has 2 mb and F: has 74.something mbs. How did I end up with 2 partitions when I deleted all of them and made a new partition? When Windows boots up now it says Low Disk space You are running very low disk space on Local Disk (C:). To free space on this drive by deleting old or unnecessary files, click here... I think somehow Windows got Loaded 2 mbs to c: drive and the rest to the F: drive.

Is there a way to put it back to normal? I just want one partition that will run Windows. Can I combine the 2 partitions into one? Help please.

Yes. If you don't have any data to be retained, just rerun Windows setup, delete all the partitions, and then create a single partition to install to. If you have data, first copy it elsewhere (USB flash drive, etc.) and then do the previous.

Yes, but you will probably need a 3rd party software solution to do so such as GParted, Acronis Disk Director, etc. There are numerous repartioning tools available.

Thank you scleros for taking the time to answer my question. I was thinking to do that but I was afraid the computer wouldn't create a c drive. It's not my computer so I want to be very careful. Lol tyvm.

The computer doesn't create a C: drive per se. You create one or more partitions on the drive which then when formatted with a file system become logical drives or volumes (C:, D:, E:... ) in the DOS or Windows operating system.

If the computer has some years on it, running the hard drive manufacturer's diagnostic utility on the drive would be prudent too before reinstalling Windows.
