    Lost driver in reinstallation
    I loaded xp from a legit disc with key code and now can't connect to the Internet. Any ideas ?

    Need to reinstall the network card driver.
    As XP is now over 10 years old it is missing a lot of hardware drivers need for a simple rebuild.
    Have a look in device manager to see how many yellow ! you have
