    If I factory reset my computer will it erase the operating system
    My laptop originally came with windows vista and I have had someone upgrade it to windows 7 and I DO NOT have the stuff to re install it. If I reset my computer will it erase my windows 7

    Yes, assuming you still have the factory recovery partition in place.
