Fatal error starting Win Media Player
Windows Media Player 9-11 in Windows XP Pro

Every time I start Windows MP I receive:

    FATAL ERROR

We are sorry, but an internal error occurred.
Please re-install the product to fix the problem.

    Error-Code: 1 / -3 / 10800

    See Doc#5305

    OK

I have now uninstalled WMP11 (roll back), then WMP10 (roll back)
And finally removed WMP(9) in Remove Windows Components
(I can still click on wmplayer.exe I Program Files/Windows Media Player
And run). I have also reversed the whole process! At every stage I get
The same message. WMP works fine efter the message window is closed!

I would appreciate an explanation and help to solve the problem.
