    Disk deframenter not working with strang message
    hello I have a Dell Dimension 4600i - processor = Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.66 GHz - Processor speed = 2.60 Ghz - Memory = 512 ram - running Windows XP Home Edition - Operating System = 5.1.2600
    Now every time I try to defrag the C/ I get this message

    Disk Defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume:(C:)
    please run Chkdsk /f.

    How do I stop this? Or what should I do Please?

    Try a proper disc defragger rather than the inbuilt Windoze one.

    Defraggler - File and Disk Defragmentation - Free Download is well worth a go and it's free..
