    Crash in safe mode
    In xp cannot boot up in safe mode, get to the sign in screen and then it crashed, OK in normal mode.

    Virus.
    Load some good anti virus software and run it, maybe reload windows. You likely have a corrupt boot file and the only way to clear it is to reload.
