    Quick fix
    I want to lose weight for a party next Friday, I know crash diets are bad for you but I'm not going to carry it on I just want to it for a week to lose a few punds, anyone got any good tips?

    There's lots of ways - many, as you probably know, are harmful.

    Go fruit, veggies and lots of water for a week - you'll lose some :)

    ... it's just my semi-educated opinion. I am NOT a medical person or dietitian.

    A low carb diet like Atkins or Idiot Proof will produce a lot of weight loss in the first week. It's mostly water, but losing the water can definitely help improve the fit of a party dress.

    Cut out all sugar, wheat, starchy carbs and processed foods. Base your diet on eggs, oily fish, fresh meat and chicken, lots and lots of green vegetables. Cut out bread, rice, pasta, box breakfast cereals, anything with sugar or tranfats. No fruit juice, only moderate amounts of fresh fruit.
