    Plastic surgery
I have been doing a lot of research on plastic sergery in Brazil. The dr. I have been talking to seems really great but I don't know him and Brazil is a long ways from the U.S.A. I have seen his before and after pictures and they look amazing and I have done a lot of work in losing 140 lbs and I have some loose skin and I need boobs. It is $3500 cheaper than getting it done here even with the airfare and motel and food. It looks on the up and up but how do I know for sure?

Congratulations on the great weight loss.

I know $$ is an issue, but unless you know people who've been to, or can get confirmation that this doc's rep is top notch among his peers, I'd be a more than a little scared to go out of the country for this. You have researched this and you still aren't sure.

I'd rather have a doc here in the states I can go after if something goes wrong.

This guy might be top notch. Can you check with the med association in brazil to see if he's had any complaints or suspensions? Can you get him to give you references in the US?

More risk than I'm comfortable with at this point.

Again, congratulations on your terrific weight loss.

    Hi,
I agree with the answer before mine.
If you can't get any information about this Doctor from anyone in Brazil, or from any medical associations in Brazil, I wouldn't risk it.
Pictures are sometimes not to be trusted.
I would go with a US Doctor, someone who has a good reputation, well known in your area. Best of luck.
