Are there any alternatives for free glasses besides Lion's Club?
My name is Lloyd and am presently homeless, but I reside at the GI Forum Vets Residential Center in San Antonio, Texas. I went though the Lion's Club about 8 months ago and had great success. I received an eye exam and bi-focal glasses absolutely free! One of my friends here at the Center accidentally sat on them and broke them. I've been told by eyeglass shop repair people that they are not repairable and the Lion's Club will only provide their services once every 2 years. I'm hoping you folks can assist me with my problem. Thank you...

The Lyon's Club here will replace a broken frame after a year. Call and ask. If not, there are low cost ways to replace the glases, but as far as FREE, I would say state assistance.
