    Reflections, Halos Etc. W/Multifocus Lens
A month following my cataract surgery and lens replacement with the multifocus lens I see a strong line of reflected light when I look at a light bulb or car headlight at night. I also some degree of halo at all times. Someone commented to me that this is an unfortunate side effect of the multifocus lens. Can any one substanciate or refute that?

Yes, each lens has different side effects and effect each person differently.

Not so much the type of multifocal lens but the type of material it's made of. Sound to do with the refractive index to me as this is often a problem where by the light is split into its component colour giving a sort of colour fringe but this depends on the lens you're wearing.
