Placing new lenses in old frames
Is there any place where you can have your new lens placed in your present frames. I hear from all eye glass places that they cannot be responsible for this. However, this has been done for me in the past few years. Has something changed or am I being over charged and dubbed?

MOST places can do this. Unless they are semi rimless or rimless frames. The shop, however, is NOT responsible if the frame is broken in this process.

Can I get lenses put into frames I bought off the internet? [ 11 Answers ]

I have recently bought some glasses frames off the internet and was wondering if I could possibly take them to Specsavers - as I am a customer there - and have standard prescription lenses put into them and I was wondering if this service - if offered - is free? Thanks :)
