How long do contact lens last?
This may sound dumb but I would like to buy some custom contact lens but the thing is if I only wear them here and there how long can they last and where can I get them for a good price?

Thank you

You can't get contact lenses unless you visit an optometrist and have your eyes tested and fitted for contact lenses. You can't just go buy them anywhere.

Once you know which contacts to order, you can get disposable contacts. They're good for 24 hours, so you wear them, then throw them away. They're very cheap, especially if you're the type of person that only wears them occasionally.

Your optometrist will have more info. :)

Great advice. ALL contacts are custom. Are you looking for contacts for vision correction or color change? Or both? I wear them for both. I was also an optician and fitted contact and trained new users on care for their lenses. Please be more specific in your questions. Thanks.

You still need to be fit for those to know what size to wear. You still need to visit an optometrist. These specific lenses are NOT cheap and are sold separately. Last I remember they were $99 per lens and lasted up to two years if solution was changed once per month. Hope this answered your question.

How long they last depends on how carefully you handle the contact lenses , how sensitive your eyes are, The brand of lenses, and your doctor's instructions.

I wear soft contact lenses, disposable, one pair a month. I get a six months supply for $260CDN. Of course, you have to have a prescription for these.
