    Dual pasport
    My grandparents are german on both sides, my farther is german, my mother was born in germany but now has Australian citizenship as do I. Am I still able to apply for Germany citizenship I am 23yr? I was born in India will that make a difference? :confused:

    Maybe... German citizenship law has been changed a lot during the past few years, plus Germany does not recognize dual citizenship. So if your parents denounced German citizenship when they became Australian citizen, you may not be able to claim German citizenship. For accuracy, please seek advice from the nearest German consulate.
