My Counter Strike Source keeps stuffing up,

it never use too it is only recently,

I have scanned my computer for virus' several times, and I have uninstalled it and reinstalled about 4 times,
still it stuffs up

things that generally happen: textures on de_dust2 the walls / box's are black, blood spurts are black and when you kill someone it shows up fuzzy pixcles of the weapon that killed them.
when the bomb is planted it's a black becon.
and in Cs_office I can play great for about 10 min then the game shuts its self down and gives me some error report.

Specs on my PC : 1GB ram, ati radeon 512mb x1600pro. Intel pentiumD Cpu 3.2 duo.

Any Ideas?

Have you checked that you have the latest updates for it? It should automatically check for you but check anyway and force it to download updates if there are any.

Yes I have gotten all the latest updates for it.
I've tried everything, the game works fine on custom maps.. but on standard ones
I have the problems

The reason you are seeing the black blocks etc is because the textures haven't installed properly, as you have probably guessed. As you have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game I would suggest checking to see if you have the latest updates for your graphics card. Go to Drivers & Software and follow the instructions, choosing our operating system etc and it will let you download the latest driver. Install that and then let me know if you still have problems.

Done all that, everything is up to date, I think the game / computer may just be ed :P

But then again f.e.a.r 2 and SOF:3 and UT3 and other games run fine..

Meh I don't know..

Same thing happened to me a while ago lol just contact vavle and they will point u in the right direction
