    Who is this doll?
    Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me about this doll. I bought her for my mom who loves dolls of all kinds, I wanted to give her some information about her when I gave it to her, but after searching and searching I found nothing of the kind. Please would or does any of you brilliant people know who she is, when she was made, by whom or what company made her/? Anything would be very helpful. Thanks a million.

Oh my goodness, I sure wish I could tell you! I'm a doll collector myself. She is beautiful! Where did you buy her? I wouldn't doubt if she was made independently, by a doll lover. There is so much detail, that I would really doubt she was sold in mass quantities.

The only other thing that comes to mind is maybe a company like Franklin Mint. If you do find out, please let me know! I would love to buy one like her. I just love her!

Good luck in finding out! There may be someone here that has seen something similar. :)

Edit:: I'm also wondering if she could have been made by a puppeteer! I'm wracking my brain right now to think of the person who made puppets that looked similar to this. The puppets name was Madame, I believe. The puppeteers name may have been Willy?

I didn't see money bags when I looked at her site. Did she say if she still sells her? I would love to have her too. I can't believe how reasonable her prices are!

My oldest doll belonged to my dad's great grandmother, she gave it to him, and he gave it to me. So, she is well over 200 yrs. Old. She's fallen apart a little over the yrs. but is still in pretty good shape and I just love her! :)
